What happens when the children of Black America achieve the dream they were told would make them safe, only to discover that safety was conditional?

I call it Revenge of Suburban Black America.

It begins with the promise of access: the right clothes, the right neighborhood, the right schools, the right language, the right kind of success. We learn to assimilate. To shrink. To be resilient. To be the bigger person. To rise above. To sacrifice whatever is necessary to get closer to the inner circle.

But proximity is not belonging.

And eventually, something breaks.

The Reckoning is the moment my characters recognize the game, a system that asks them to play by rules that were never designed for them to win. Thats when the conventional narrative ends. They don't wait patiently. They don't suffer quietly. They don't ask permission.

They get even.

Revenge of Suburban Black America is my fictional framework for stories about Black characters who have been taught to pursue access, achievement, and respectability. And then decide what happens when they stop asking to be included.

My films and series explore that rebellion through comedy, drama, crime, spectacle, and interactive storytelling. Sometimes revenge looks like destruction. Sometimes it looks like reinvention. Sometimes it looks like building an entirely new system outside the one that rejected you.

But one thing is guaranteed:

We get our revenge by the closing credits.
